Founded in 1870, Syracuse University is located on a picturesque 168-acre hilltop campus. Syracuse and Central New York are rich in culture and history. The Onondaga County Public Library has over 30 locations and maintains a useful schedule of events. The Everson Museum of Art, was founded by George Fisk Comfort, a well known art educator who also helped establish the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Three floors of hands-on activities and exhibits, planetarium and daily live science demonstrations await visitors to the Museum of Science and Technology.
