The newcomer to the Syracuse hotel scene is the Candlewood Suites at Carrier Circle. The reviews have been great, but this is not to say that the other selections nearby are less attractive. These include the Embassy Suites with its indoor walk ways along the stream and tropical plants, Extended Stay American for a really competitive price, Residents Inn with its charming townhouse arrangement and the Marriott.
In Fayetteville, the Craftsman Inn is a delightful inn, furnished with Stickley furniture and complimented by an excellent restaurant next door, the Craftsman House.
Nearer to the city is the Dickenson House on James Street with each room representing a different Dickens theme. Also on James Street is Appletree Apartments where you can stay very reasonably on a month to month basis whilst house or job hunting.
